Fantastisch! Goeie band, goeie sfeer, top! Best een raar idee dat ze er mee stoppen. Maar zoals dat gaat, aan al het goede komt n x een eind. Ze hebben een enorme verzameling aan goede muziek achter gelaten waar we altijd van kunnen genieten!💚

Mooie en bijzondere avond gehad met De Dijk. Locatie was prima, catering goed en gemakkelijk. Parkeren is gratis.

About De Dijk
De Dijk is a dutch band from Amsterdam & Zaandam, which has been making dutch pop music since the early eighties. Their style can be described as a mix of soul, blues and rock. The group is named after the Zeedijk street in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Although the band has been active since 1981, their first album wasn't released until 1987. Before the name "De Dijk" came into view the band was known as "Stampei".
De Dijk is made up of:
* Huub van der Lubbe (vocals)
* Antoine Broek (drums)
* Nico Arzbach (guitar)
* Hans van der Lubbe (bass)
* Pim Kops (keyboard)
with additional guitar/organ playing by J.B. Meyers
and they are backed by the Hot Haarlemmerdijk Horns:
* Roland Brunt (tenor saxophone)
* Mike Booth (trumpet)
They got instantly famous with their first hit "Bloedend hart" and found their way to a broad audience with their albums "Wakker in een vreemde wereld" and "Niemand in de stad". De Dijk is known for their live performances. Still going strong after all these years, though less succesfull in scoring hit singles.
