the Space Cowboys & the Cosmic Girls

Formed in 2016 and hailing from Asheville, NC, the Space Cowboys and the Cosmic Girls is the Southeast's premier tribute to Jamiroquai. The band brings a non-stop boogie down dance party by using the elements that made the music of Jamiroquai the sensation it is; groove, soul, and swagger.​ With their powerhouse stage presence the Space Cowboys and the Cosmic Girls have delivered explosive and memorable performances to packed houses at some of the top venues and festival stages on the East Coast.

The band consists of many faces from the Asheville music scene, and each member brings a unique flavor to the mix. Many members come, or came from other Asheville groups such as Sister Ivy, Get Right Band, Andrew Scotchie & the River Rats, Random Animals, Supatight, Empire Strikes Brass, Chalwa, Jahman Brahman, and Deja Fuze. Having this much diversity is what helps bring the multi-faceted essence of Jamiroquai to the Space Cowboys and the Cosmic Girls' live experience.
