1Lady is an American female rapper of Cambodian and Laotian descent from Stockton, California. She began her music pursuit at age 11, writing poems, which progressed into song writing. In 2012, she released two mixtapes, "My Time" and "Love, Breakups, & Bullshyt". She than took to remixing popular songs where she adds her own spin posting them online. In 2015, she released a 3-track EP titled "Drip”, followed by 13-track mixtape titled “Wet Summer”. In 2016, she released a 13-track mixtape titled, Dream Chasing. On February 1, 2017, she released the first single “BUOM”, along with a music video, from an upcoming project with a release date in May. She has performed countless shows and been on six nationwide tours. With her energy, along with upbeat and catchy tracks, she’s been rocking the crowd, getting them hyped, and having them sing along with her lyrics. With a style all of her own, she incorporates Hip Hop, R&B, Club music that will take you on a journey of different moods and vibes. When asked why she makes music, she replied, "Music is my escape. Whatever mood I'm in, the songs that I write reflects on how I feel at that very moment. It's my way of letting my feelings and emotions out. It's where I feel completely vulnerable and free." After years of experimenting with many different sounds and finding herself as an artist, 1Lady is making way to becoming a house hold name and building a good foundation of followers.
