Ricky Cooper

My name is Ricky Cooper, I am 17 years old, I recently won the TCR Country Showdown in Ashland, KY on July 4th 2015 and will move on to the state finals Aug. 14th 2015. I am WV's first Redneck Idol winner 2015, placed 3rd out of 30 CMA Showcase 2015 in Nashville, TN, WV Coalfield Idol winner 2015! I have been singing and playing guitar for 4 years! I won my 6th and 7th grade talent shows and received the Future Star Award in my 8th grade talent show! I have played the WV Coal Festival, Riverside Homecoming Festival, The Nashville Palace in Nashville, TN, The Black Walnut Festival in Spencer, WV, the Veterans Day Programs and National Anthem on electric guitar for Sherman High School basketball games! I was chosen to attend the Applause Rising Talent Showcase in June 2014 where I made the top 13 singers in the competition, I received callbacks for America's Got Talent, Atlantic Records and Sony Records!
