FLYING PENGUINS are a laid back, indie folk group (with a bit of flute and fiddle) featuring an ad hoc line up of close-knit friends.
Hatching their existence in the wet 'wastelands' of the West of Scotland in 2012, the band have organised all things from collaborative gigs and residencies, to tours of foreign festivals and community music events. The Penguins released their first album 'Jump Over Your Shadow' in 2014 to local acclaim. Work on their sophomore effort expects to reach ears by the end of 2017.
