My Heart's Cry

Jeff Hamm and Jordi Montoya have won several awards in songwriting including the 18th Annual Billboard Songwriting Contest and runner-up in the USA Songwriting Competition. They have played at such places at the Texas State Fair, Texas Motor Speedway, Six Flags, Ichthus Festival, Cornerstone Festival, SXSW, and so much more. From 2010-2012 they played nearly 400 shows nationwide as well as starred on a few Christian based television shows. Their music was pushed on over 220 radio stations and broadcasted all over the world. With the release of their first single "Stronger", they received National accolades from Billboard and USA Songwriting and in 2013 Jeff Hamm was nominated for Texas State Musician. They were also named as Christian Rock On The Verge and took most added song for a week with their second single "All or Nothing". Late 2012, Jeff Hamm and Jordi Montoya took a job as Youth Pastors at DFW New Beginnings with Pastors Larry and Tiz Huch to continue building the kingdom. 2013 put Jeff and Jordi in a rebuilding and rebranding phase with their new name The Steady. 2014 brings promise as the group plans to release their brand new sound and EP to the world.
