When this band formed in August of 2019, they set out to accomplish one thing: write original country-rock music that speaks to folks, and a lot of it. With influences like Merle Haggard, Cross Canadian Ragweed, to the Rolling Stones this band encapsulates decades and decades of influence. If this wasn't diverse enough, WhiskeyHat added 25 year old lead singer Brandon Albert. With the strong song writing coming from both the youthful and wise band members, song connectivity spans over generations. What this means for the listener is this: no matter if you are just out of high school or are watching grandchildren play on the porch you will feel the lyrical connection the members of WhiskeyHat attempt to portray in every song. Each song is composed mechanically and lyrically solely by the members of WhiskeyHat, something they are very proud of.
