About Day of the Jackalope

Filled with energy and groove, fusing old school 70’s bluesy rock ‘n’ roll with modern stoner rock, Day of the Jackalope are on their way up!

Their debut EP was released January 29th 2016. Since then they've played venues like Hulen in Bergen, Samfundet in Trondheim and Revolver in Oslo among others. They also played festivals like Høstsabbat, Engajam and Musikkfest this summer and has made a reputation for themselves as a band who deliver a bomb of energy on stage. In February 2017 they released "Shapeshifter", a mini album with a bit harder sound and even more face melting. As described by Morefuzz.net: "The Norwegian 4-piece plays some of the best bluesy stoner out there and their new effort, Shapeshifter, keeps up the amazing work with a meaner, heavier atmosphere while keeping their creativity at a constant high.". Now they are building up to the release of their debut album, playing gigs and making new songs on their way.
