Paula Johns

Paula is an accomplished “cabaret singer/jazz vocalist” who comes from a musical family. She inherited music honestly from her mother, an opera singer, and her father, a choir director & organist. She is often compared to some of the great contemporaries of the 30's & 40's like Sarah Vaughn, Carmen McRae and Ella Fitzgerald.

I sing ALL kinds of music. It doesn’t matter to me if its “jazz”, “pop”, “R & B”, “classical” or “country western”…If the music is GOOD and I like it and feel that you will like it also, I’m SINGING IT! Paula brings her own distinctive panáche to each song she sings. She enjoys a great lyric that tugs at your heartstrings, as well as a lyric that’ll make you fall off your seat with laughter. Her passion for the music ignites the emotions of her audiences, and allows them to “feel” the stories that each song tells.
