A special evening for a special cause. Barney does not disappoint, and Jess is always a delight. Didn't remember the names of the other acts, loved the band, solo chap was a great guitarist.

"Seriously Spellbinding" fRoots

Duotone is the alias for Cellist / Composer Barney Morse-Brown. An acclaimed
musician known for his masterful use of live looping and effects. Originally trained in
baroque performance Morse-brown’s inventive and playful approach merges the voice
of the cello with electronics. Spanning classical music, new classical, folk and
electronica. He has written and produced 6 albums and 3 ep’s. His compositions
explore the ephemeral otherworldly experiences of life and death, often working with
themes of loss, longing, loneliness and the fragility of life.

Cellist for Award Winning Artists and Bands such as Hack Poets Guild, The Fairies
project, Birdy, Maya Youssef, Chris Wood, Imagined Village & Eliza Carthy. He has
toured worldwide with highlights such as Sydney Opera House, Olympia - Paris, Green
Man, End of the Road, Cambridge Folk Festival.
Morse-Brown's compositions have been featured on a number of soundtracks including Close (Netflix) Deceit (Channel 4) Culprits (Disney +) and most recently for Channel 5
series Too Good to be True. Other projects include commissions for Falling Tree
Productions, Radio 4 and a collaboration with 201 Dance Company's adaptation of
