From Gothenberg Sweden, Markandeya began his global vision over a decade ago as the founder of the eight piece orchestra Kultiration. Collaborative works have included OKA (AUS), recording with members from Little Dragon (SWE), opening shows for Groundation (US) and Midnite (US). Most recently Markandeya is found appearing at the international acclaimed festival, BaliSpirit Festival (Indonesia), Earth Frequency (AUS) and Scandinavia ReggaeFestival (Denmark). With the recent release of Mirror of Words: Part two, Markandeya continues to both tour and spend time in the studio finishing part three of the trilogy, scheduled to come out in January 2016. Aspiring to be a voice of the times we live in, Markandeya shares uplifting and life-affirming music with real narratives and songs full of meaning and spirit.
