When Nothing Remains The Swedish masters of atmospheric doom death metal, When Nothing Remains "2016" contain members from bands like Nox Aurea, Draconian, Doom: VS, The Cold Existence, Rimfrost, Grá etc.. The band stands for melodic compositions decorated with catchy guitar solos and atmospheric keybords, with a harmonious blend of clean vocals and growl. Conceptually, the artwork of the latest CD "In Memoriam"completes the story told in the previous two albums, The tragic story of love, life and death, begun in anno 1800. The Idea of When Nothing Remains was born in late 2010 when Jan Sallander from "Nox Aurea, The Cold Existence" and Peter Laustsen from "Draconian, Nox Aurea, Rimfrost" wanted to create something very dark and emotional. In the beginning of 2011 Jonas Toxen was added as a session for the drum duties and Johan Ericson "Draconian, Doom: VS" to handle the clean vocals, mixing and mastering. First album "As All Torn Asunder" was released March 2012 on Russian label Solitude Production. 2013: The band was working on their second album "Thy Dark Serenity" sheduled to be released in February/March on Solitude Prod. The band asked their friend Jerry Torstensson From "Draconian" to handle the drums for the recording of the album. 2016: The third and the highly acclaimed album "In Memoriam" was also released under Solitude prod. The band added two new studio/session musicians to help out with the drums and bass. Evgeny Semenov from Solitude Productions and Val Atra Niteris from German funeral doom band " Frowning". A lot of things has happend. Dimitri Jungi an old friend of Peter and Jan crossed their way and with a very dedicated heart and extrem skills he became a fulltime member behind the drums and with this three tha band become a solid core. The latest album got really good recognition and the wheel started to spin. And as today the band has signed with a new record label and teamed up and started to work very close with "Bleeding nose Records" (Germany) "Artist coalition group" (booking agency, Europe,World wide) "Bash artist development" (management) "Distilled Entertainment" (booking, management USA) When Nothing Remains has a soild line up now and with three epic albums they are now ready to move fast and play around the world as much as possible.
