The Crooked Jacks

Started in 2011 playing our first gig as support to the Wolfe Tones in Tullamore, Since then we have been writing and recording some material , We have also had the pleasure of playing in Venues like the I.N.E.C in Kilarney and The Bridge House in Tullamore, Ocean Shores Festival Seattle, Dublin Castle London , Queenshead London , Mulligans Bar Amsterdam , Dinn Ri Carlow, Wright Venue Dublin , Temple Bar Dublin and A terrible Beauty Seattle. The Band consists of , Davey Fitz A.K.A (Daffy), who is the Lead singer and Guitarist , Jody (The Whacker) Cahill who also sings and plays Banjo , Mandoin, Guitar and Keith Byrne A.K.A (Bobby) who sings and plays all percussion , Bodhran, Cajon Drum and whistles . We have a very unique sound and we try to blend our love of Irish Music with our love of all music, which gives us this raw and jigtastic different sound, We are big fans of the Pogues and the Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem, Tim O Brien , Christy Moore , Mumford and Sons, Lunasa and Flook. We have recently completed tours of both the USA and UK which has been a major success . We have left the stage to standing ovations at our Tribute to The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem Theatre Show . Recently released our album' Somethin Simple ' and currently working on a new Live Album which will be released in 2014.
