About Palaceburn

Palaceburn, in its early days, was known as the “Meredith Bell Band”, but Meredith quickly realized that music was not something she wanted to pursue alone. She recruited a guitarist, bassist, and a drummer, and the four-some set about working on 2013’s “The Awakening”. Palaceburn’s debut EP introduced the band to the Philadelphia music scene. With sing-along songs such as “So Gone” and the ballad “Trouble”, the band quickly gained notoriety for both their sound and energetic stage presence. The four-piece, through a series of line-up changes, became a five-piece and in 2015 went back in to the studio to work on what would become their second EP, “Curses”. It was Engineered at Architekt Studios in Butler, NJ; the same studio where Sevendust regularly records, and its music was given air time (particularly "The Beast Inside") on WMMR in September 2015 when Palaceburn was the Local Shots Artist of The Month. 2015 also saw other successes such as opening for Nonpoint and Otherwise, winning a spot on 2015’s AFROPUNK Fest. There the band shared a stage with the likes of Suicidal Tendencies, Death Grips, Candiria, and Letlive. The band’s success continued with spots on the Dewey Beach Music Conference and Elm City Music Conference in the fall of 2015. Despite the set-back of having to replace their lead guitarist (a founding member of the band), Palaceburn has recently added a new, unreleased song to its already strong rotation, and plans to release its first full length album in early 2017. Recently, Palaceburn opened for Sevendust, Trivium, Like A Storm, and Westfield Massacre in Reading, PA at one of its most rewarding shows to date, and recently completed a successful tour in the Midwest. New single, "Stars Align" available NOW! Pick it up in all Major Digital Retailers and Streaming Services!!
