The Breakdowns

After years of crawling through the ember-filled ashes of Southern California’s gritty underground scenes, frontman and chief songwriter Dave Stucken, bassist Maxfield Ladish, guitarists Ryan Anthony, and drummer Julian Kelly came together with an anti-establishment attitude and a need to break free from the confining perceptions of genre. The band’s latest recordings (made at Hurley Studios with longtime friend and producer Davey Warsop of Suedehead/Beat Union) land them somewhere between the lost past and unwritten future of rock ‘n’ roll with a flurry of passion-driven songs inspired by the imagery of film noir and rebel love.
