I always love attending this annual event to see Tyler Rich. It's always a guaranteed good time. And there's nothing like him singing "California Grown" in Clearlake ... As long as he's the one performing, I'll be showing up!

The Tyler Rich show was absolutely fantastic! From his originals - new & hits ... to covers of classics, like Have You Ever Seen The Rain by CCR ... to his song "Dogs Don't Die" which he wrote about his pup Abby he had rescued 17 years ago & had to say goodbye to earlier this year - I guarantee there wasn't a dry eye in the building. However, after the show, that's when things took a turn. After every show, Tyler likes to take pictures with & sign pictures for his fans. He does this at every show. It's one of the many reasons why his fans love him so much. There was no opener and the show ended really early - around 9:45pm - earlier than most shows I've been to at this venue. He was about half way through his line when this woman, apparently the manager, came storming down the aisle-way swearing up a storm, not caring there was anyone around. She was talking to another - very disrespectful security guard - and they were saying "who the f*ck does he think he is?? this is f*cking ridiculous! he needs to leave now!!" The fans that were there couldn't believe how rude someone for this venue would speak like this. I heard a security guard was blocking pictures being taken with her hands covering the cameras. I've not once EVER seen a venue act like this. I drove up from San Francisco for this show, as I've done for other artists that play here - like Matt Nathanson ... but now I will second guess buying tickets & supporting this venue if this is the kind of people they have representing them. If they make things right -- fire this woman & her "yes mam" security & get the right people to fill this position that actually have a love for music & the experience of a concert -- & also apologize to Tyler Rich & his fans, I will consider going back.

About Tyler Rich
Raised in Yuba City, a small farming community in Northern California, Tyler Rich found his love of music gathered around a Christmas tree alongside family singing holiday classics and Creedence Clearwater Revival. At age 8 his cousin introduced him to the Country sounds of George Strait, Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson before his grandparents surprised a then 14-year-old with a guitar so he could join in the annual jams. Fast forward to graduating college with a degree in Economics, Tyler moved to LA to pursue a different game of numbers – music – exploring various genres with songwriting and bands before taking the leap as a solo artist. His fanbase has grown from a station in Sacramento supporting his independent release to signing a record deal with The Valory Music Co. and publishing agreement with Big Machine Music. While introducing his amplified sound and infectious energy coast to coast, the 2018 CMT Listen Up Artist has moved to Nashville and become a road warrior performing alongside some of the genre’s top acts including Dustin Lynch, Sam Hunt, Brett Eldredge, Justin Moore, Cole Swindell, Dan + Shay. Recently named a SiriusXM Highway Find Artist and making his national television debut on NBC’s TODAY, Tyler’s new single “The Difference” is available digitally now. The Rhett Akins, Ben Burgess, Devin Dawson and Jacob Durrett-penned song has crossed over 9.1M streams already. Tyler will continue introducing his music across the country at fairs and festivals this summer, including CMA Fest in Nashville. For tour dates and more, visit TylerRich.com.
