Nervengeist

(English below) Nervengeist fut créé par Thomas Hornstein et Axel Plantade en 2014. Axel et Thomas se sont rencontrés environ 3 ans auparavant, dans leur école de musique, où Axel enseignait le clavier et le piano, et Thomas apprenait la basse. Chacun amateurs de Black Metal et de biens d'autres choses, ils ont rapidement commencé à sympathiser grâce à leurs goûts musicaux. Cependant, leurs influences et styles de composition sont différents. Après un concert de l'école de musique, ils décidèrent de mélanger ces univers et ainsi d'en créer un seul: Nervengeist. 2 mois après la création de ce projet, quelques morceaux furent écrits et Nervengeist enregistrèrent leur première démo appelée "Path To Suffocation" (Chemin Vers La Suffocation), qui rassemble chacun des aspects du projet, à savoir de puissantes atmosphères spirituelles, des riffs violents et mélodiques, de la symphonie, et l'art du piano. Thomas et Axel sont chacun chanteur du groupe, car Nervengeist est le résultat d'une symbiose entre l'esprit artistique de ses deux musiciens fondateurs. Après la sortie de "Path To Suffocation", le groupe fut rejoint par Olivier Molina à la batterie et Pierre-Louis Riff à la guitare rythmique. Les répétitions et la préparation pour le live et l'enregistrement commencèrent, tandis que Axel et Thomas continuaient de travailler sur la composition du premier album du groupe. Plusieurs mois plus tard, après plus de 2 ans de travail, la composition du premier album de Nervengeist arrive à son terme. Tandis que le groupe est rejoint par Matthieu Fontaine au deuxième poste de guitariste, et Quentin Geniez à la batterie, prenant la place de Olivier Molina, la cadence des répétitions s'accélère, et le projet, se préparant pour l'enregistrement en studio, voit ses morceaux prendre vie les uns après les autres. Le groupe rencontre son ingénieur du son au studio Mass Sacred Noise et est prêt à commencer l'enregistrement de son premier album pour le 7 Novembre 2016. Axel and Thomas are the main singers of the band: Nervengeist is indeed the result of a real symbiosis between the universes of its two former members. ​ After the release of "Path To Suffocation" through Endless Decrepitude Productions, the band welcomed Olivier Molina at Drums and Pierre-Louis Riff on Rythm Guitar. Rehearsals and training for live performances and recording started, while Axel and Thomas were continuing to write the first full-length album of the band. After more than two years of work, the writing process of Nervengeist's first full-length album arrives at an end. While Matthieu Fontaine, as second guitarist, and Guentin Geniez, replacing Olivier Molina, joined the band, rehearsals are getting more and more numerous, and the band, preparing for studio recording, experiences the performance of each of their songs. The band meets their audio engineer from Mass Sacred Noise and is ready to enter recording studio on November 7th, 2016. ​ To be continued.
