Jessica Delacruz Music

Jessica Delacruz graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance. She spent much of her time studying classical singing and Opera music. She also participated in Dolora Zajick's Masterclass with UCF Opera. Even though her main focus was in Opera and classical singing, she enjoyed singing Jazz and Gospel music. While attending Seminole State College of Florida, she joined the school’s Gosepl’s choir and Seminole Sound. In the summer of 2013, she participated in Scuola Italia's Opera program in Italy, singing scenes from Falstaff and L'Amico Fritz. After years of study of classical music, Jessica Delacruz decided to go on a different route to tap onto other creative outlets and projects. She is currently writing music and performing live around the Orlando area. She admires artists like Marina and the Diamonds, Lana Del Rey and Florence + the Machine for their honest communication and total freedom of expression.

Jessica Delacruz also has a side project, working with a team to strengthen women musicians in the Orlando Area and to increase Women representation in music. The Facebook Page is called Women Musicians of Orlando.

Jessica Delacruz is a proud collegiate member of Sigma Alpha Iota, where she has held the position of Musicale Chair and is currently the Vice President of Ritual of the Zeta Tau chapter
