Marutyri is an 8-piece band that shares a passion for the beauty and complexity of fusion music. Their live performances are known for the huge dynamics, story-telling solos, a lot of improvisation, and a big dose of funk and groove.
Their debut album ”Inner Movements” was nominated for an Edison Award, they’ve won a Radio 6 Soul & Jazz Award and played many times on national television. Concert highlights were North Sea Jazz, So What’s Next, Motel Mozaique and tours in China (3x), Canada (2x) and Germany.
