Brianna Battista - more info coming soon! Rusty Droz - Alto Ms. Droz attended Villa Maria College and the University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB) where she studied music education. Her instrument was the tuba. She also has a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Special Education degree from Buffalo State College. Ms. Droz has performed in plays and musicals locally and written and performed special musical programs for elementary schools. She enjoys all types of music and has sung in settings ranging from biker bars to weddings. She is always up for a challenge! Ms. Droz sings and plays keyboard and rhythm guitar with the Time Pirates, a classic oldies/rock band she formed with her husband in 1986. She gives private guitar and piano lessons in her home. She also sings alto in the choir at St. Gregory the Great in Williamsville. For the past 8 years she has been a music teacher for the Heritage Education program. Alexis Kerr - more info coming soon! Donna Kerr - Mezzo Soprano Hailing from Buffalo, NY, Donna Kerr attended the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts School where she majored in Music. Her major instrument and area are clarinet and woodwinds. Ms. Kerr attended the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB) where she studied and earned her Bachelors degree in Music Education and English Literature. She also holds a Masters degree in Secondary English Education 7-12 from Buffalo State College. Ms. Kerr has performed and directed throughout the Western New York area in various capacities for the Arts: She has taught woodwind lessons privately and for continuing Music Education and Theatre community programs. She was the founder and director for the Amhran O’Ciar School of Celtic Music and is an adjudicator for Irish music competitions (feisanna). She is a member of the Erie County Music Educators Association (ECMEA), New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA), for which she is an adjudicator, festival host and chairperson, and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). For over 25 years, she has taught in the Buffalo Public Schools as an English, Theatre and Music Educator. Ms. Kerr is the Band Director at City Honors School for grades 5-12. She also teaches 6th grade general Music, directs the pit band for the musical productions, Jazz and marching bands. She is extensively involved with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra’s Education Committee and Community Spotlight Program which features and hosts performances and educational opportunities for young musicians in Western New York. In 2015, she was awarded the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra​ and The Erie County Music Educators Association ECMEA​ award for Excellence in Music Education. Ms. Kerr also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame​ and was recently nominated for a Grammy Award for Music Educator of the Year 2017 The Buffalo Dolls - singing the hits of the 1940s, '50s & '60s in the style of The Andrews Sisters.
