Perestroika

Perestroika[per-uh-stroi-kuh] was formed in early 2011 by vocalist Chelsea O'Donnell and bassist Gabriel Fontanez upon meeting at SUNY Fredonia at an open mic night. After writing together for a while, they began to search for band mates. Guitarist Keegan Johnston was added to the line up by means of a flier advertising "Guitarist Looking for Chill People To Start A Band With". Around this time Chelsea and Gabriel stumbled upon a Percussion Guild meeting and drummer Jeff Wick was discovered, thus making Perestroika complete. Perestroika's members come from vastly different musical backgrounds from Alternative Rock to Metalcore, which has allowed for a new and interesting sound that they want to share with the world.
