Allen Key

Soms melancholiek, soms explosief, maar altijd geladen. Beïnvloed door alle hoeken van het muzieklandschap, maakt Allen Key een bak psychedelische postrock recht uit het hart. De wortels van Allen Key leiden terug naar het uiterste zuiden van Spanje. Daar trok de band zich enkele weken terug in de studio van Jan Peijnenburg (Doe Maar). Omringd door de intense rust van de Spaanse natuur, ontstond de muziek die de basis vormde voor de eerste EP, die in april 2017 is verschenen. Een EP vol emotie en uitspattingen: ‘Generation Unknown’ vertelt het verhaal over de intense zoektocht naar jezelf. De EP is lovend ontvangen en is getipt door verschillende radiostations, onder andere IndieXL. White Room Reviews: "De serieuze insteek van hun start werpt duidelijk zijn vruchten af. Allen Key combines on the one hand melancholy, on the other hand explosive music, but always layered and loaded. The roots of Allen Key lead back to the sierras in the South of Spain, where profound silence and beautiful nature were the main ingredients for their first EP Generation Unknown. The band retreated in a studio in the mountains, where the story about the search to themselves arose. The EP was released in april 2017 and is received positively by the Dutch media.
