Toxic Reasons were the best band of the night these guys should have been headlining this show because they put on an excellent show and definitely one of the best gigs I have ever been to.Please bring these guys back to play their own show,the only complaint I have is that their alloted time slot was way too short only a half hour.They have so many great songs that a half hour doesn't do them the justice they deserve.Thank u Toxic Reasons I will never forget this for the rest of my life,just thinking about that gig still blows me away,please come back soon.

About Toxic Reasons

Formed in Dayton, Ohio in 1979, Toxic Reasons was one of the outstanding american hardcore bands of the midwestern scene in the early 80's. Currently reformed after a long hiatus these purveyors of punk have over eight full length albums to their name, and many reissues and compilation appearances as well.

They first recorded their debut 7" EP War Hero in Indianapolis, Indiana which was released in 1980. Their next 7" EP Ghost Town was produced in 1981 by East Bay Ray of the Dead Kennedys in San Francisco. Their debut LP "Independence" came out on the Risky records and the band soon relocated officially to the label's base of San Francisco. They released Kill by Remote Control in 1984 on Alternative Tentacles in Europe, and through 6th Int'l in the US. It was around this time they adopted a logo that came to symbolize the diversity of their sound and band member's mixed origins. Their logo which showed a crest with portions of the Americam, Canadian & British flags represented that they were into mixing intensely fast us hardcore with more melodic Canadian guitar lines and U.K influences like bits of anthemic British punk and reggae.

The core members of this group:

Bruce Stuckey:Guitars & vocals ( 1979 - )
J.J. Pearson (aka Jimmy Joe ):Drums & vocals ( 1980 - )
David Clough ( aka Tufty ) :Bass & vocals ( 1982 - )

others during early years:
* Ed Pittman : Lead Vocals ( 1979 - 1983 )
Rob Lucjak ( aka Snot ) : Bass, Guitar, vocals ( 1980 - 1985 )
* Joel Agne : Guitar,vocals ( 1979 - 1981 )

Though other members came and went through the bands career, these were the main members, who are most associated with the group. Bruce, J.J. , and Tufty carried on until circa 1995 sometime after recording "No Peace In Our Time" for Bitzcore Records. They have since reformed and are based in indianapolis.
