Cory Welch

I began playing guitar at the age of 11 after moving to the Atlanta area with my parents. I was having a difficult time making friends. My dad taught me my first few chords and songs and I immediately fell in love with the guitar. I spent every moment I could playing and practicing. I started taking guitar lessons through middle school and high school. I began writing at 16 and playing out live. I was able to create a world of melodies that told my story far better than I could ever atonally. It became much more than passion. Playing, writing and performing became my life.

Now, I seek to give back the music that so greatly enriched my life. I enjoy making music for others as well as myself. It's much more than a calling. It's become part of who I am.
