After Shock

AFTERSHOCK ROCK TRIBUTE BAND Combining experienced entertainers who have a passion for performing with a love of 80’s “hairband” rock - After Shock is a cover band that will give you a party blast from the past. After Shock has compiled a song list that is appealing to everyone who loves the decadence of the 80’s. We rock all of your favorite 80’s hairband tunes from bands like AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, KISS, Motley Crue', Guns N’ Roses and many more. Come on, feel the noise! After Shock was started in 2013 when singer Tammy Mozey and lead guitarist Michael Kaut shared their love of that classic 80’s sound. Tammy grew up in a musical family and Michael has a master’s degree in guitar. Tammy loves everything Bon Jovi, particularly Jon Bon Jovi, and Michael channels Eddie Van Halen for an eruption of guitar riffs. Fueled by mutual interests, the two began searching for other members to form a band. Drummer Brent Hagan soon joined the group. Brent really spiced up the mix with his crazy high energy style. Brent also entertains the crowd with his acoustic guitar rendition of Guns-N-Roses Patience. Cue the memories of the love-struck band groupies swaying to the beat. Next enters bassist, Kevin Gogerty. Kevin (formerly Gene Simmons from the band Psycho Circus), is a die-hard member of the KISS Army, and has been named “Iowa’s own demon”. His musical influence comes from the gritty God of Thunder himself, Gene Simmons (tongue and all). And last but not least, we have Christian Hughes on rhythm guitar and keys. Christian brings a whole new rockin’ vibe to the band . His pretty-boy reputation brings all the Girls, Girls, Girls begging him to Kick Start their hearts. After Shock comes complete with a bona fide “sound guy” Chris Onsrud with Stonebridge Audio. Having an ear for those 80’s riffs and high notes, when Chris has his hands on the controllers you WILL feel the music. He brings a professional live sound that will have you out of your seat, traveling back in time to the decade that shook us all night long, the 80s..
