Cliff B. Worsham and Javier Bolea, RBTS WIN forge their own brand of cerebral body music in the heart of the Appalachian mountains. Invoking the harmony and chaos of analog synthesizers and old-school samplers, the collective of sonic adepts have grown a cult following throughout the southeast. As much as the duo’s work eschews formula or convention, there are themes (love, spirit, connection, nature) throughout, along with musical references to the natural world — as filtered through electronic instruments. The band has gained a reputation for cathartic live performances awash in voices, guitars, analog synthesizers, and drum machines and looks to return to stages in support of their upcoming full-length album, ‘happy_sad.jpg’.
