About Nagual

Rock Band originating from the province of Piacenza (Italy) in activity since 2006. It is currently composed of 6 musicians that have been around the Piacenza and Pavia rock scene for many years. Nagual proposes original songs and 70/80/90s rock covers, mainly influenced by: Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Whitesnake (78/93 era), Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Alice in Chains and, in general, 70s Rock/Blues and 90s Grunge...
Current Line-up: Luca Sabia (Vocals & Guitars), Davide Belfiglio (Guitars), Giulio Armanetti (Bass), Claudio Bianchi (Drums), G. Fabrizio Defacqz (Keyboards & Vocals) and Sara Battisteri (Vocals).
“Tat Tvam Asi” is their debut album dated February 2017 which also features “Let It Go”, a music video for the first single. At the end of July 2018, “Naked Roots” is published, a live EP recorded at Elfo Studio featuring new acoustic versions of “My Own Two Demons” and “Let It Go” plus an unplugged revisited take of “Child of Babylon” (Whitesnake) and “Diamonds and Rust” (Joan Baez). On this occasion the official videoclip of “My Own Two Demons” will also be published.
December 2019 – Release of the single and video “Above the Clouds” anticipating the new album.
March 2020 – The new album “A Glass Full of Karma” is published as a CD and Digital Release.
February 2022 – Publication of the single “Too Far Gone” and its related videoclip
16 April 2022 – Publication of the “Too Far Gone” EP on CD, featuring the new single plus three songs recorded live in May 2020 (“Above the Clouds”, “Upside Down” and “Ozymandias”

The band was formed in Spring 2006.

Vittorio Dodi (Guitar) (Grass or Brass, Dirty Lovers, Betty Blue, Fortune)
Massimiliano Fulgosi (Bass e Backing Vocals) (Dirty Lovers, Chiara e gli Scuri, Deja Vù)
Carlo Cantore (Drums) (Chiara e gli Scuri, Haulin'ass, Fratelli Borgazzi)
Their live debut, with a proposal of 70s British/American rock covers and Grunge anthems, happens in January 2007.
February 2007 – Nagual publishes a demo CD “Live Session 2007” with cover songs recorded at Elfo Studio in Tavernago (PC)
Spring 2007 – Soon after the band returns to Elfo Studio to record their contribution to “Sgt Peppers 1967-2007”, a Beatles Tribute compilation from the bands of Piacenza with their version of the song "Good Morning, Good Morning".
March 2007 – Claudio Bianchi (Sciamano, Blue Noah, Dirty Lovers, Powerhouse, Bela Lugosi, Black Sheep) replaces Cantore on Drums.
November 2008 – The band begins writing their own material… “Dreaming Soul Mate” is born.
February 2009 – First sessions in the recording studio (Elfo Studio) where the early versions of “Dreaming Soul Mate”, “Words for the Wind” and “My Own Two Demons” are recorded.
October 2010 – Giulio Armanetti (Zebra Fink, Massmoka, Black Rose) replaces Fulgosi on Bass. Keyboard player Samuele Polenghi (Sciamano) joins the group.
Spring 2013 – Samuele Polenghi leaves the band which returns to a 4-piece line-up.
Autumn 2014 – Nagual enters the recording studio to start working on their debut album which will be produced by the Band and Alberto Callegari (Elfo Studio).
May 2016 – Nagual opens a concert for Ian Paice (Deep Purple) and Matt Filippini at Cinema Teatro Capitol in Borgonovo Val Tidone with a set of original songs from the new album in the making.
September2016 – The recording of the debut album “TAT TVAM ASI" is completed.
December 2016 – The Band films the video of its single, LET IT GO, directed by Finnish filmmaker Teemu Nikki (Playgod, 3Simoa, Lovemilla).
February 2017 – Publication of the album “TAT TVAM ASI” and the video “Let It Go”.
June 2017 – The official line-up is completed with the arrival of Fabrizio Defacqz (Keyboards & Vocal) (Mindflower, Total Eclipse, Viacavo e Dhune)
May 2018 – The Band is back at Elfo Recording Studios to record and film an Acoustic live performance.
July 2018 – “NAKED ROOTS” is published, a live EP recorded at Elfo Studio featuring new acoustic versions of “My Own Two Demons” and “Let It Go” plus an unplugged revisited take of “Child of Babylon” (Whitesnake) and “Diamonds and Rust” (Joan Baez). On this occasion the official videoclip of “My Own Two Demons” will also be published.

October 2018 – Publication of the videoclip “Diamonds and Rust”, from the “Naked Roots” EP.
March 2019 – Recording the new album begins at Elfo Studio.
August 2019 – Publication of the videoclip “Child of Babylon”, from the “Naked Roots” EP.
December 2019 – Publication of the single “ABOVE THE CLOUDS” and its related videoclip anticipating the release of the new album.
March 2020 – Publication of the new album “A GLASS FULL OF KARMA” by OrzoRock Music.
October 2020 – Publication of the videoclip “Sea of Darkness”, second single from the new album.
October 2020 – The band’s line-up is completed by two new members: Marco Cusenza (Guitars) (Zebra Fink) and Sara Battisteri (Vocals).
October 2021 – The band is back at Elfo Recording Studios to work on a new single: “TOO FAR GONE”
February 2022 – Publication of the single “Too Far Gone” and its related videoclip
16 April 2022 – Publication of the “Too Far Gone” EP on CD, featuring the new single plus three songs recorded live in May 2020 (“Above the Clouds”, “Upside Down” and “Ozymandias”
October 2022 – Davide Belfiglio (Guitars) (Torture Garden, Dhune, Three or Four) joins the Band in substitution of Marco Cusenza.
May 2023 - Publication of the single "Fading Away" and its related videoclip.
