BUCK est une énergie brute arrachée à une terre granitique malpolie. Pas de dentelles ni de mathématiques, pas de postures ni d’effets de modes. On ramone la basse, on frappe à grands coups et on cadence. Une basse, une batterie, de temps en temps un sax, de temps en temps un orgue mais pas de guitare. Fuck The Guitar Player. Rien à envier à Morphine, Nick Cave, Tom Waits ou MotörHead, ils font le boulot.
Après un premier album Live balancé comme on jette de l’essence sur le bucher pour animer le débat, BUCK revient avec un premier album studio, montrant l’étendue de leurs compétences. Le tempo ralenti pour aller chercher au plus profond, la voix se polie un peu. On parcourt, on ne reste pas statique. Il n’y a rien d’évident mais tout est simple et vrai.

After a first live album dumped like you throw oil on fire to stimulate debate, BUCK come back with their first studio album, showing the extense of their competences. The tempo slows down to reach deeper, the voice polishes a bit. We
travel, we don’t stand still. There’s nothin obvious but everything is simple and true.
