Crosscurrents Trio

Under the collective name of Crosscurrents Trio hides the English bassist Dave Holland, whose atypical playing and magnificent sound were quickly spotted by a certain Miles Davis; Zakir Hussain, living legend and greatest master of Indian tabla; and Chris Potter, virtuoso and captivating American saxophonist. They boldly and masterfully redefine the contours of modern jazz mixed with Indian music. This trio is built on a love and a deep mutual respect for each other's playing, the subtle integration of different universes, and a different approach to music, to form a coherent whole. A high-flying team, made up of three of the best musicians in the world on their respective instruments, sophisticated arrangers and composers, with one goal: to make you travel!
