Welcome Everyone to LAZARO’s OFFICIAL FACEBOOK PAGE! The idea of starting the band began one inspirational day by Giovanni, Arturo and Giancarlo. Their idea was to start a hobby that would soon turn out to be an ecstatic, heart pounding, incredible Spanish rock band from the D.C. Maryland, Virginia area! Arturo Garcia is the extravagant rhythm guitarist, back up vocalist, and deep intellectual award winning song writer. Giancarlo Bellido with his awe dropping lead vocals, songwriter, and slinging zingy solos on lead guitar. Oscar Amaya, the rock hard headbanging bassist! Pablo Salazar, 3rd guitarist and electronic pianist. Kevin Andrade with his crazy unique style on drums. The original trio composed, and recorded their first album LEVANTATE (available on itunes) in the Summer of 2011! After a few small acoustic performances, they wanted to play at bigger venues. So, Arturo introduced the band to Oscar Amaya (bassist) and Kevin Andrade (drummer) in September 2011. Later, we added Pablo Salazar (Rhythm Guitarist) in June 2012. Thus the complete band was formed! Throughout the past year Lazaro has performed at Events, Fundraisers, Various Restaurants, The State Theater, and recently in June 2013 at The Howard Theatre locally in MD and in VA, yet Lazaro’s goals are nowhere near met.
