Slon

A name that popped out as the composer behind some soundtracks for street artists videos like 1UP Crew and Mosa, art institutions as Fondazione Prada and documentaries (see 113/2018 and America non c’è).
Marco Mercuzio Peron aka half of MADAM (https://madam.cloud) becomes now Slon, a mutaforma experiment that melts sound, sociology, storytelling, visual languages and performance in order to question everyday choices, feelings and the multiple roles we play in life. His music has no genre, and these first bunch of tracks are the result of a on-off-layering process. Relying on the brain’s memory and the natural need of harmonizing, one layer after another is composed and then muted, all to one same click. Once the blind processing come to an end, all of the layers are turned on to reveal a dense-multi-layered-tho’-suspended-music. The method forces fragility into rigid shapes, while limits and rules become fluid for body balance to shift and reach a new equilibrium.
