Johnny Rage

John Thomas Leonetti, better known as Johnny RAGE, is the advocate of the true movement of freedom, acceptance, peace, love, and music. The champion of a great time, Johnny RAGE has been involved with electronic dance music scene of Des Moines, bringing smiles to everyone who surrounds him from music festivals to club events. In 2012, Johnny RAGE began his training as a DJ. The founder of the RAGElife Family, Johnny RAGE has been involved with many events over the years as a promoter, rager, and DJ. But one event stood out. On December 15, 2012, John acquired access to a warehouse who he and a handful of Iowa's core electronic dance scene, set off to produce a real rave, known as Underground Sound. The turnout, and the vibe, is one to be spoken about for years, but the end result was legendary. Des Moines police shut down the party at 4:30am and asked everyone to leave. While the DJ's and production crews were cleaning up, the authorities threatened to arrest everyone involved. John walked up and said, "take me, I am responsible." John was arrested and detained that morning. When he left jail the following day, he sent a text to his iParty comrade, Pri yon Joni, and said, "it was worth it, that was the best night of my life!" From his music to his character, Johnny RAGE carries "the feeling" in every appearance and every performance. In every city, he will live to share the moment.
