Pulgasari

Pulgasari was formed in 2014 in Stockholm's rock club circuit, named after an obscure Korean monster movie that lends itself well to the band sound; big, loud and entertaining.

Taking influences from classic blues-infused rock bands such as Led Zeppelin and AC/DC as well as more modern bands like Clutch and Rival Sons, Pulgasari has quickly become known for energetic live performances with groovy blues sounds, atmospheric chord progressions and improvised guitar solos.

The debut EP "Chairman of the Ouija Board" was released in February 2015 and received positive reviews from several rock blogs and websites. At this point in time Pulgasari set out to conquer the Stockholm Rock Circuit.

Pulgasari have since then performed all over Sweden and made unique appearances, such as being the first rock band ever to play at ABBA The Museum in Stockholm, and doing back to back shows at a private clubs for motor-gear enthusiasts in Västerås.

The Summer of 2016 saw Pulgasari play their first festival at Gamrocken in Ludvika, drawing one of the largest crowds of the festival to the show.

Second EP "Doom Pérignon" was released September 23rd 2016 and was recorded live at Studio Underjord with Joona Hassinen with live videos recorded in the studio for every song on the EP.

Summer 2017 will see Pulgasari visit Germany with the TEUTONIC SUPERSONIC TOUR 2017.
