Seit 2004 bringen Big Fat Shakin´ mit ihrem Mix aus Rock `n´ Roll, Rockabilly, Swing & Surf eine schweißtreibende Überdosis Rock `n´ Roll auf die Bühne.
Ein Feuerwerk aus saftigen Hits von Elvis, Eddie Cochran, Johnny Cash und Chuck Berry - Songs von Brian Setzer oder Dick Dale inklusive!
Doch nicht nur die Klassiker gehören zum Repertoire - die Abwechslung macht’s! So
finden sich auch Songs von Roxette, Bruno Mars oder Kim Wilde im Rockabilly-Kleid
wieder und mischen ordentlich mit.
Big Fat Shakin' setzt alles daran, ihr Publikum sofort mitzuziehen und zu akrobatischen Höchstleistungen zu verführen.Die vierköpfige Band fährt stilecht mit mehrstimmigen Gesängen auf, wobei jeder der einzelnen Musiker mal als Hauptsänger agiert. Und das sieht nicht nur gut aus, wenn die
Kontrabass spielende Frau (Miss Magenta McKinley) in der Band den Bruno Mars singt.
Seit 2008 zählen Big Fat Shakin´ zu den Hausbands des Berliner Kultladens „Clärchens Ballhaus“ und begeistern dort einmal im Monat an zwei Abenden mit ihrer Overdose-Show.

Ever since 2004, Big Fat Shakin’ have thrilled audiences with a sweat-inducing overdose of Rock ‘n’ Roll featuring the finest in Rockabilly, Swing and Surf. The band delivers a firework of full-fat hits from the likes of Elvis, Eddie Cochran, Johnny Cash and Chuck Berry – not to mention Brian Setzer and Dick Dale!

Yet their repertoire is not all about classic tracks – variety is the spice of Big Fat Shakin’ life!

The band’s set therefore also includes rip-roaring Rockabilly makeovers of songs by artists such as Roxette, Bruno Mars and Kim Wilde. Big Fat Shakin’ put everything into electrifying their audience from start to finish and whipping them into an acrobatic dance extravaganza.

The band’s four members serve up delicious, authentic vocal harmonies, and all take over the reins on lead vocals at some point. Their double bass-plucking diva – Miss Magenta McKinley – singing Bruno Mars is just one of many highlights! Since 2008 Big Fat Shakin’ have been a regular house band at cult Berlin venue “Clärchens Ballhaus”, where they perform their Overdose show on two consecutive nights each month
