The Michael Reed Band

A long overdue breath of fresh air, reminding us all that music is meant to be fun and enjoyed. Singer/songwriter Michael Reed has surrounded himself with arguably the greatest rhythm section found in the Cedar Valley. Chad Smith, Matt McLaughlin, and Neil Matthias have joined Michael for their first collaborative effort “Running Wild”. A seven song ep which will be released in January. Classic influences like Johnny Cash, Lynnard Skynnard, and Aerosmith blend with modern flavors like Mumford & Sons, The Frey and the Red Hot Chili Peppers to give MRB the ability to play whatever type of music they want to at any given show MRB is an acoustic driven rock band based out of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
