The Sharp Boys Sixteen Years of Sharp House 2010 is the sixteenth anniversary of The Sharp Boys career in the music industry which has seen them embrace the world's of: broadcasting, production, remix, record company running, club promoting and of course Dj'ing. The Sharp Boys currently hold DJ residencies at the UK's biggest Sunday morning after hours club "BEYOND" at AREA & London's leading Sunday nighter "ORANGE" at FIRE plus regular appearances at "Later" / "a:m" / "Gravity" In December 2009 The Sharp Boys were approached by "Popcorn" promoter "Big Al" with an invitation to return to the Worlds most famous Gay Disco "Heaven" and help celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary venue with "ROYAL HOUSE". The "Royal House" club brand was created in 2002 in association with "Heaven" as a special Monthly Saturday event in the Star Bar. The early parties were very successful and before long the night moved onto the Main Floor with big production stage shows and visual delights! Spectacular events followed on key weekends like Easter, Pride & Fireworks Night to packed houses and critical acclaim. "Royal House" has hit the decade running. Following the anniversary invitation at Christmas, the party has held 3 further nights in 2010 at "Popcorn"; Easter (billed as the 8th Birthday), the May Bank Holiday and most recently on July 5th "Royal Pride". The night is on a right Royal roll and continues to attract new fans and regal regulars - it covers the spectrum of House music with stunning laser shows, the finest production & visuals plus regular special guest performers - one is very amused and loves to boogie! Over the years The Sharp Boys have remixed over 300 tracks for some of the biggest names in the music industry: From Kylie, George Michael, Faithless, Moby, Ultra Nate, Full Intention,Christine Aguilera, The Divine Comedy, Janet Jackson, Chris Brown & Madonna to Luther Vandross, Britney Spears, Craig David, Aretha Franklin, Mary J Blige & Pink. Overall The Sharp Boys name appears on 7 National UK No 1 singles & over 30million records worldwide! International gigs have included tours of Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Ibiza, Paris, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Greece, Finland, Prague, Moscow plus sets all over the United States (Las Vegas / San Francisco / M iami / Washington DC / New York & Los Angeles).George & Steven Sharp broadcast and co produced their own radio show "The Sharp Saturday Night Invasion" every weekend from 1998 - 2004 on London's leading independent dance station Kiss 100. Over their years at Kiss The Sharp Boys interviewed and presented guest mixes from some of the leading lights in Dance & Pop music including: Carl Cox, Basement Jaxx, The Chemical Brothers, Nile Rodgers, Erick Morillo, Jacque Le Cont, David Morales, Fat Boy Slim, Boy George, Dannii Minogue & Pet Shop Boys. Radio 1 broadcasts include: Not 1 but 2 "Essential Mixes" for "Mr Radio" Pete Tong; Interviews and guest mixes for Dave Pearce, Fergie, The Dreem Team, Danny Rampling and Judge Jules; whom they Dj'ed for Radio 1 with: live & direct from Hyde Park.
