About Everyday Ghost

Everyday Ghost was formed back in 2009 by Aaron Lenk and Sean Haller. The first year was spent writing , recording and searching for a drummer. After trying out a few prospects they picked up Bobby Butterfield in early 2010, released a demo under the band name "the Scripture", started playing shows and working on a full length album. Before the release of their full length debut album "Volume One" in 2011, Aaron and Sean decided to change the name of the band to Everyday Ghost.
In 2013, due to health issues, Bobby Butterfield was let go from the band and eventually replaced by Nate Cupp later that year. Pushing forward with a new drummer they released their self titled album "Everyday Ghost" in October of 2014. A music video for the single "The Cure" from the album received an award for "Best Rock Video" at the 30th Annual Review Music Awards.
Originally a three piece band they decided to add lead guitarist Pete Metropoulos in 2016 to add another layer to their sound. Aaron and Pete collaborated on a couple of projects together outside of Everyday Ghost, one of which became the album "Fireset". The album "Fireset" featuring John Macaluso (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ark, TNT, Symphony X, Lynch Mob) on drums was released in November of 2017 along with a music video for the single "Antidote". Bobby Butterfield was back in the hot seat on drums in support of the Fireset album.
In July of 2016 Everyday Ghost decided to build their own recording studio, Everyday Ghost Studios, to help speed up the writing and recording process. The studio was completed in January of 2017. They began writing and recording for the album "Digital Self" while working out the bugs in the new studio. Meanwhile Aaron Lenk recorded released a solo album under L.E.N.K. which was the first release from EGstudios in 2018.
Closing out 2017 with the release of Fireset and a very successful album release party, EG had to part ways with Bobby Butterfield once again in early 2018. After a couple of failed attempts at attaining a new drummer they finally picked up Jose "Jojo" Jimenez later that year. After entering an online contest for Z93 the Rock Station "Next2Rock" battle of the bands they placed in the top 5 and secured a slot in the live battle held at The Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant, MI. After only 2 months of preparation with new drummer Jojo they managed to take 3rd place in the battle. They closed out 2018 on a 3 month hiatus to work on an outside paid project for a Japanese Anime.
Working with latest drummer Mario Salcedo (Silverspork), 2019 was the fresh start Everyday Ghost needed to get back into the groove and continue to push forward. With the release of the album "Digital Self" in July 2019 momentum has been picking up and breathing new life into the band and will be playing shows in support of the album. And once again it is that time of year where we will be back in the studio for the fall/ winter working on the next album as well as another Anime project to help support the band as well as Everyday Ghost Studios.
