About Youth on Soda
Youth On Soda is an experimental nexus of realities birthed from the bowels of artsy Echo Park, Los Angeles.
Dancing around the experimental by combining seething noise & punk themes that are channeled to the listener with ambiguous lyrical jest, queer attitude and eye popping visuals and explosive energy.
Formed in 2016 in Los Angeles by dissonant noise makers: vocalist and guitarist Ori Paul Levi, bassist Chloe Mays and drummer Jared Frazier. Soon after forming Youth On Soda began playing shows around Los Angeles, hitting renowned venues such as The Satellite, Non Plus Ultra & Hi-Hat.
In May 2017 the band released their debut release “APPLEPIE” which has quickly grabbed the attention of influential music writers home and abroad - obtaining coverage in zines such as “Indie Bands”, “Overblown” and “Destroy/Exist”.
We're the bizarrely non bizarre - spreading our message of distorted love and queerness.
