About Brooke Potter

Brooke released her first Christmas Demo in 2012 entitled “Blue Christmas”. Her second demo entitled “I'd Rather Be Here will follow in 2013. Brooke’s voice has been compared to artists such as Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Sara Evans, and Miranda Lambert. Her powerful vocals bring the perfect blend of sweet soul and edge. She is ready to usher in a new wave of traditional, soulful country meets rock. Brooke Potter was born April 25, 1995 in Yukon, Oklahoma, later moving to Moore. She attended Westmoore High School where she was Freshman and Sophomore Class president and starred in three of the school’s musicals. She is no stranger to the stage, making her first appearance as a tiny ballerina at the age of 4. She continued to dance with Academy of Dance Arts, Applause Studios, Broadway Dance Center, Lyric Studio, and the Sooner Studio, where she branched into ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, and hip-hop. She soon started to pursue acting and music through musical theatre. Brooke has performed with the Lyric Theatre, Thelma Gaylord Academy, and Sooner Theatre where she has landed numerous leading roles. Some of her favorites include Eponine (Les Mis), Ariel (Footloose), Gabriella (High School Musical), and many more. Brooke has appeared in many commercials and television appearances including 7-11, Laureate Clinic, Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge, and more. She just recently wrapped filming for “The Veil” where she played a featured Dominion subject. She has made several appearances on local news stations promoting performances, performing excerpts of musical numbers, promoting Colonial Day at the Capitol, and speaking at her High School Graduation about the recent tornado that affected her hometown of Moore, Oklahoma. Brooke then decided to pursue a career in country music, and started at the Rodeo Opry where she has performed numerous times and worked with artists such as Laura Leighe, Kata Hay and the Blaze, Cindy Scarberry, and many more. Brooke has performed at music festivals all over Oklahoma and the Oklahoma State Fair. She has sung the national anthem all over Oklahoma, from sporting events, chambers of commerce, the Oklahoma Air National Guard, and school assemblies. She even sang at the 2009 Oklahoma Military Ball with several-esteemed guest including Governor Brad Henry. Brooke finally followed her father's advice and began writing her own music which led to her first song "I'd Rather Be Here". The song was produced with Laura Leighe, Trent Stockton, and Jon Isam Brooke can’t wait to share her music with the world! Brooke Potter is a singer-songwriter and actress from Oklahoma City.
