About Lionsault
Lionsault has been running the roads and bringing their version of rock n' roll to the people since the release of their debut album 'Are You Feeling Lucky?' in the fall of 2015. Their unique but familiar interpretation of rock n' roll filled with catchy hooks, huge riffs, and high-energy driving rhythms with harsh but melodic female vocals leading the way, has helped them crush anything in their way and has had a major hand in bringing them several awards and accolades, but the trio owes their success to their countless hours of dedication and hard work perfecting their modern brand of dirty old rock n' roll.
The team of Kortni Nicols, Taylor Sheasgreen, and Chase Nicols, followed up their DIY debut full length album release 'Are You Feeling Lucky?' with constant touring and dates with the media. The album exceeded all expectations and was extremely well-received. Following their 'do it yourself because no one will do it for you' mantra, they continued to display their show on the road and push their debut album, which proudly scored them position #8 in Sleazeroxx Top 10 Albums of 2015.
Shortly thereafter and returning from a tour across Eastern Canada in the summer of 2016, Lionsault's new single 'In the Wild' was chosen as the new goal theme for the QMJHL hockey team the Moncton Wildcats. Lionsault performed at the Wildcats' home opener in front of 6000+ in attendance and 'In the Wild' is played every time the Wildcats score a goal in their hometown to this day.
Taking no breaks, Lionsault continued on the road, and was quickly nominated for Music New Brunswick's Emerging Artist of 2016. However, instead of leaving Music NB's Festival 506 with the Emerging Artist award, they instead left with both the 2016 Fans' Choice Award as well as the 2016 Members' Choice Award. More recently, Lionsault's debut album 'Are You Feeling Lucky?' was nominated and won 'Loud Recording of the Year' for the 2017 East Coast Music Awards.
Now, with a 2nd album in the works, the new addition of Cody Ramsdale on guitar, and no stopping in sight in any regard, Lionsault continues to bring their hard n' heavy east coast rock n' roll to the eyes and ears of the country while they continue to carry out their plans of world domination.
