OCEAN GRID is a group of six young men from Cincinnati Ohio. What started as just six guys wanting to make music and perform, turned into so much more. More than even they could have predicted. Putting 6 guys together, all with different musical backgrounds, from metal, to classical, jazz, indie, punk, and R&B, their music was going to be a new style and mixture. However what happened was much more than that! 6 guys with different family backgrounds, lifestyles, educational backgrounds. They still had something in common, MONSTERS. Things that they struggled with, things they had to overcome. They soon realized the big picture. When all of them came together, grew together, became a close family, and using their gift writing music together. When making music together, their past didn't matter, where they came from didn't matter, it was just making music for the love of it. Working as a group. They realized by coming together you can overcome, defeat any MONSTER and obstacle pulling them down. Then they had the vision, "What if we can bring this message to people in our music?" Then, OCEAN GRID was born! Writing songs such as A Life Worth Living, Ambitions, Resilience, Second Chances, Words to Live By, Run from the Vices, and their new single, "Mind Over Monsters", the music of OCEAN GRID is written to inspire hope, show change is possible, you're not alone, you're loved, you have a life worth living. Use your talent, your skills, and your story. Stand up, be proud, be beautiful, and love one another. Putting your mind to it you can overcome any monster. OCEAN GRID expresses the feelings that a lot of people have forgotten, and lost sight of. “It's so much more than just the music. It doesn’t matter what you do in life. Do whatever it is you love. That impact inspired the formation of their charity organization, The Monsters Project. OCEAN GRID is here to make a difference, and here to help change the world! Our Sound: Aggressive mixture of rock and metalcore incorporated with catchy clean melodies and raw vocals. Our Goal: To inspire, and give hope!
