Cary Steward

Cary Steward better known as "Stew" is the Worship Pastor at The Connection located on 25E in Morristown, TN. From 2007 to July 2012, Cary led worship and praise as the Worship Pastor at The Connection Fellowship of Morristown, TN and Restoration Church of Morristown, TN. His worship leading experiences stems back as far as 2003. In 2002, Cary began New Nation band. He continues to lead New Nation as they perform throughout the Southeastern US. Cary has over 14 years of church band experience. At the age of 12, Cary started performing piano, drums and bass, in church. As early as 4 years old, Cary began his journey as a singer culminating in his completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Voice, from Carson-Newman College.

Cary has attended songwriting conferences in 2010 and 2011. There he had the opportunity to learn valuable song writing and worship leading skills from accomplished song writers such as: Glenn Packiam – Lead Pastor of New Life Downtown & former member of Desperation Band; Paul Baloche – Singer/Songwriter – “Open the eyes to my heart”; Jason Ingram – Songwriter – “The Greatness of Our God” and many more!

Cary’s passions and talents span from husband, father, singer, songwriter, worship leader & minister, to band leader, voical coach, musician, and everything in between.
