Nick Lawrence – Singer/Songwriter Nick Lawrence has been a crowd pleaser for the last eighteen years now touring the southwest part of the United States. This vibrant talent has opened shows for artists such as, George Strait, Gary Allan, Diamond Rio, Radney Foster, and also opened for the legend Ray Price at his last performance. He has performed The AT&T Center numerous occasions for the San Antonio Spurs halftime concerts, VIP Show for the Tim McGraw & Faith Hill Concert, Houston Rodeo, & San Antonio Rodeo Kick-Off celebrations. In 2010, Nick Lawrence had radio success in Texas and in May 2014 he released a “Live In Concert” DVD & CD which includes three studio tracks. One of the three is now a fan favorite, “Roughneck”, an ode to the fast growing Texas oil boom, and “Dreamer”, a ballad that describes the struggles and hardships of the music industry. Nick Lawrence music can be best described as Texas country music with a twist of southern & alternative rock. Straight out of Helotes, TX, Nick Lawrence began his career at 12 years old playing drums and singing in the sixth grade. He later went on to play lead guitar in his father's band professionally in 1996 at fourteen. It was then where he began crafting his own distinctive style and sound going on his own in 2004. Nick released “Heartbroke Rodeo”, his very first CD back in 2000. It sold over 2,500 units in its first month and received spins on radio stations like KJ97, KKYX, & Rebel Radio in and around the San Antonio area. In 2005, Lawrence dove into the Texas Country scene with his self titled release, “Nick Lawrence”. This was the first time his originals like Bluebonnet Highway & the song “Detour Left” which featured the legendary Flaco Jimenez received worldwide airplay. Detour Left was number one for seven weeks in Italy, The Netherlands, and in Australia. The ’08 Nick Lawrence Band, "Livin’ It Up, Drinkin' 'Em Down" album, awarded Nick a distribution deal which has lead to thousands of downloads on the worldwide internet. It blends the musical styles of traditional & contemporary country, swing, rockabilly and alternative. Singing about real life experiences that fans can relate to, Nick Lawrence original music reveals everything from heartache, driving down to Mexico with the boy's, falling in love, & loud rowdy bars.
