About The Superskas
Andy Hess, a long time aficionado of Ska, founded the Band in 2005. He was joined by Ted Davies (Vox and Guitar), Lorraine Stewart (Vox), Scotland B (Bass) and Roger Westwood on Kit. Brian Wright, known as BeeDubya and later just Dubbs, joined Ted and Loz on Vocals. In 2009, they found a couple of itinerant brass players at a beer festival and welcomed Alun David (Trombone) and David Hipkiss (Trumpet).
In the summer of 2014 Lorraine left the band and was replaced by Sharodene Mellis on vocals along with the addition of Mark Overton on Saxophone.
Various eminent local characters can be seen from time to time guesting at the Superskas notorious live shows. Hope to see you at one soon! The Ultimate tribute to ska and 2tone http://www.thesuperskas.com
