About Seth Faulk

Seth Faulk grew up on a small horse-farm in the middle of the woods on Stormville Mountain; just outside Poughkeepsie, New York. His mother and father, beside being a social worker from Brooklyn and an over-the-road trucker from the Bronx (respectively), were both long time performers/competitors in Andy and Jeri Camp’s Double R World Championship Rodeo. That being said, Seth began riding horses when he first came home from the hospital (when he was three days old). His passion for drumming wasn’t discovered until much later on, when his grandfather sent him his first drum set for his seventh birthday. Seth began taking private drum set lessons immediately, studying with Ronnie Negro. As he grew older, that was supplemented with group percussion lessons during middle school and high school, as well as further private instruction with Ralph Guzman and Jim Petercsak . In 2002, Seth began studying Classical percussion at the SUNY Purchase School of the Arts with Ray DesRoches and Dr. Dominic Donato, where he later graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Production. It was while attending college at Purchase that Seth met record producer and film scorer Dan Romer (Drawing Number One), with whom he later played in the Synth-Pop/Rock band Fire Flies for several years, alongside Matt Krahula (The Nightmare River Band) and Wil Farr (Hurrah! A Bolt of Light!). Seth has performed and toured with many artists including Todd Carey, Curtis Peoples, Tony Lucca, Matt Duke, Keaton Simons, Sierra Noble, Charlene Kaye & The Brilliant Eyes, April Smith & The Great Picture Show, Cara Salimando, Alexa Wilkinson, The Nightmare River Band, and more. Freelance touring/studio musician based in Brooklyn; working with producers, composers, and artists in and out of New York City, Nashville, and Los Angeles
