As a man and a musician, Brian Carrion is full of surprises. Hip Hop hooks and rap verses even make an appearance on the moody “Water Under the Bridge”. Tight electronic production underpins Carrion’s patently sexy funk guitar and crystalline vocal range. On “Fascinating”, heART’s standout track, radio-primed pop/funk riffs tell the story of young obsession and captivation in often hilarious terms: “You are so fucking awesome, it’s incredible.” Brian Carrion’s watchword is the endlessly unexpected.
