Charles Emanuel

Singer - songwriter and musician Charles Emanuel (Charles Emanuel Miller Jr.) was born on May 24th, 1990 in Portland, Maine and was raised from the age of 2 in the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Kitts. At age 15, he began his musician and songwriting journey when he was gifted an acoustic guitar. At age 23, he relocated to New York.

In 2016, his move then brought on his debut EP The Healing Process. The 8 track project is a collection of life and love stories intertwined with a combination of genres such as alternative rock, soul and pop. On November 2nd, Emanuel announced the surprise acoustic soul EP BREATHE. Both projects are available in all digital music outlets.

In the fall of 2016, Charles embarked on The Healing Process Mini Tour where he made stops in some of New York State's popular venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, Daily Planet and Silvana. He recently completed his second tour - The Coffee House Tour - performing in coffee shops in Rochester and Buffalo, NY, Washington, DC, Moline, IL, Charlotte, NC, and Toronto, CA and in June of 2018, Charles also joined Rochester powerhouse Danielle Ponder & the Tomorrow People in Spain on their European showcase - The Dream Chaser Tour.

Emanuel, who has performed alongside artists such as Beres Hammond, Shaggy, Lionel Richie and Dobet Gnahoré draws inspiration from artist like Allen Stone, Sam Smith, The Noisettes and The Alabama Shakes to bring a raw, soulful and acoustic experience to the stage.
