Daytime Moon

Formed in the picturesque desert of Joshua Tree, Ca., Daytime Moon is the musical creation of singer-songwriter Brent Simpson. Known for their passionate live performances full of catchy riffs and psychedelic drum and Bass solos. Daytime Moon is Independently bringing the funk to you til you “See as many Sunrises as Possible”. The current line up features the legendary Kevin Patterson, from the Celtic reggae band The California Celts and also Ska Punk gods Warsaw Poland Brothers. The bass guitar is operated by former Chronic Trigger guitarist and lifelong friend Daniel Hovis. The newest addition to the band is Petal Motel’s very own Lara Bennett on guitars and additional vocals. Together Daytime Moon has blazed a path to musical righteousness and forged their own destiny out of blood and tears. They just released a full length release titled “ You are the Dusk, I am the Dawn” in October of 2021 with Paul Francis of Get Right Recording and soon followed with a music video for their smash hit “Spirits” directed by Zak Kupcha of Circulation Media. Receiving great response and success the band has been touring and playing shows in support since. In February they released a collection of guitar soli tracks titled “Chrysanthemum” on their bandcamp and they plan to release much more music in the near future so stay tuned!!!!
