The Dead Settlers

The Dead Settlers are a indie/blues rock band based in Glasgow formed in 2013. Their main influences include Oasis, Kasabian and Arctic Monkeys. The band have managed to build a substantial local following, playing many venues in Glasgow and further afield.. They have also played at various local festivals including slots at festivals such as The Edinburgh Fringe, and headline shows at The Glasgow Southside Fringe, King Tut's New Year's Revolution and Motherwell Makes Music festivals. The Dead Settlers debut EP ‘Burn With Me’ was released on 18th November 2016 on all major online retailers and streaming services, as well as a limited physical release. The EP was launched to a sold out crowd at Audio in Glasgow on the same night. The band have already had a busy 2017, headlining a sold out King Tut's Wah Wah Hut as part of their ‘New Year's Revolution’ festival in January, In February and March the band headlined Broadcast in Glasgow and The Bungalow in Paisley, and are also scheduled to headline the Sunday night of the Motherwell Makes Music festival on March 19th. The band have also recently released their the official music video for ‘Burn With Me’ on March 5th 2017, which has been extremely well received on social media, being shared and liked on Facebook by hundreds of indie rock fans across the country in only a couple of weeks.
