About ClayToRide
"There shouldn't be difference between you and your music, that's how we play and why we change."
ClayToRide are Matteo Tretti (drums), Michele Thiella (Bass G., chorus) and Stefano Sartori (guitar/vocals).
Talking about history, the project was born in late 2010 near Vicenza (Italy). After a lot of gigs, they released their debut 6 track EP in 2012 named 'Age Of Innocence'. Between 2013 and 2014, they released the video for the single “Nothing Really Dies” and then released the first studio album "For his Wine & Chamber", allowing the band to reach more visibility, getting them plenty of reviews and gigs.
In 2015 the five-piece became a trio and, after spending a long time trying new sounds, they produced the 2nd studio album in March. "Glass Vessels" is made of nine powerful tracks, two of which have been made into videos (links below), 'This Town' being the most recent release.
The band are inspired by "every song/beat that reminds us of something important, as a memory, a dream or even an awareness." They have also been influenced by the likes of The Doors. Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Refused, Placebo, Il Teatro Degli Orrori, and Muse.
ClayToRide have been lucky enough to share the stage with Bud Spencer Blues Explosion, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, EF, Airway, Sula Ventrebianco, Dardust and many more.
“WORTH LEAVING” new EP I COMING(2017).
It's a concentrate of all the experiences, all the emotions and all the facts that this three guys had during the last year, including all the reasons that are inducing them to move the project out from Italy and look for new sensations somewhere else.
This is a worth leaving.
